Shape

*Natural line - flatter surface with a less pronounced C curve, for clients with a flatter, wider nail bed
*Sculpted line - higher apex and a deeper C curve, for either clients with a curved nail bed or a Natural client who prefers the look of a Sculpted Gel-X Tip

Sizing

You must know your nail measurements in order to purchase a set of Press On By Em.

Option One (Most Recommended):

Purchase a sizing kit

* Each sizing kit includes every nail size (#'s 00-9, for a total of 14 sizes) in the shape of your choice (e.g., short almond) so you can try and determine your perfect fit.

*Once you know your nail size/numbers, you can correspond those to Press On By Em’s standardized sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL) as listed in the sizing chart below, or order a custom size at checkout. 

Option Two: Measuring your nails.

*Please note that there is more room for error when measuring your nails versus using a sizing kit. Measuring incorrectly could lead to you ordering nails that do not fit correctly.

How To Measure Your Nails In Millimeters:

Step 1

Lay a soft measuring tape over the widest part of your nail, pulling down tight to account for any curve of your nail.

Note the width of each nail in millimeters for each finger, at the widest part.

OR

Stick a piece of tape across the widest part of your nail, pressing down to account for any curvature.

Pull the tape off your nail and measure the distance between your marks of each nail (thumb, index, middle, ring, and pinky) with a measuring tape or ruler in millimeters.

Step 2

Now that you know the width (account for any curve) of your nails in millimeters, use the chart below to determine your individual nail numbers (00-9) and the corresponding size kit to select (XS, S, M, L, XL).

NOTE *If you are between sizes, it is always safer to go up one size.

*If none of the standard sizes fit your nail measurements, select "custom" and leave your measurements in the custom order box when ordering.

(Thumb, Index, Middle, Ring, Pinky) - Example:

Right: 14.5mm, 11mm, 11.5mm, 10.5mm, 8.5mm.

Left: 15mm, 11mm, 15mm, 11.5mm, 10.5mm.
